Skip All
Four Seasons Television is David Hurn and James O'Sullivan plus one other improvising musician. Recording of the first album, 'Skip All' has now been completed and features contributions from Dario Bernal-Villegas (percussion), Chris Prosser (Violin) and Claire Brock (Percussion). The album is now out the mastering and artwork stage. More details will follow on this site and also you will be able to listen to new pieces on our soundcloud page when they have been mastered.
Found Drowned
Found Drowned is the provisional (but we like it) moniker for James O'Sullivan, Pete Marsh (double bass) and Paul May (percussion). Our first album was recorded in One Cat Studio with the excellent engineer Jon Clayton and tracks are almost ready to be mastered and released, possibly on forwind - more information to follow. We will also be playing a set as part of a forwind showcase at St Leonard's church in Shoreditch, probably in September.
Hurn O'Sullivan- 'Encasement'
An album of guitar duets with my longtime friend and collaborator David Hurn are in the process of being recorded. News on release dates and any upcoming shows will follow.
Clang Sayne
Physical copies and downloads of the debut album 'Winterlands' are still available via the forwind site. In addition, material has been recorded and is beginning to be edited of a second album of pieces featuring Laura Hyland, Pete Marsh, Paul May and James O'Sullivan. Release information will follow!
Chrysakis/Wigens/O'Sullivan
The trio of Thanos Chysakis, Jerry Wigens And James O'Sullivan are intending to do a short tour in Madrid in February 2012. In addition, copies of the 2009 release, instant-cascade-distant are available from the buy section of this site and also from the AURAL TERRAINS site
David Hurn solo album
The last touches are being given to David's new album of solo material (featuring contributions from James O'Sullivan, Dario Bernal Villegas, Tom Springbett, Chris Prosser and Jane Wild to name a few) and the album will be released, hopefully this year) by Mark Beazley's excellent label, Trace recordings . David's first instrumental album, Black Flowers, is also released by Trace recordings and available from this site.
Chavez, Hurn, O'Sullivan
For a couple of years now, Ingrid Chavez, David Hurn and James O'Sullivan have been exchanging sound files over the Atlantic with a view to releasing an album of songs. Some of the results so far can be heard here. More news will follow on the release.
